Way to go! Sometimes directions aren't as direct as we would like them to be, but you persevered and it paid off

TRAGEDY STRUCK! I finished my latest vodka brew and found that I had no more in the house :(. How could I not have thought to stop at the liquor store today?

Fortunately, there was some Evan Williams Honey reserve Kentucky Bourbon, so I can make do until tomorrow :D

The only thing worse than leaf pickup is wet leaf pickup.

Next weekend is looking good and not too many leaves since its already been done twice so it can be skipped today. Last weekend was a heavy pickup.

Man you're not kidding. My old house had huge trees all around it, hated this time of year. It was about 4-5 weekends of leaf cleanup and dragging them on a tarp to the street for pickup. No leaf cleanup at my new house :D

I ain't done any leaf clean up at all, if I can avoid it I will. A bit of wind can clean a lot of it up around here. When the leaves go down over the banks they rarely get back up.

Yeah, my planning sucked. Can't do leaf mowing today.

At my last house I had to do the tarp thing but drag them a couple hundred feet to the woods. Much easier on flat ground where I can mow/mulch them and be done.

Ah leaves. I have 3 acres of leaves. 7 sugar maples, 3 silver maples, 4 ash, 3 big oaks, and the perimeter on one side is lined with a mix of all of em. After several years of not

being able to burn them I am running out of places to put them. I bought a Husqvarna garden tractor and a Cyclone rack leaf system that works well, but it's really getting

to be a pain. I used to blow them in big piles and haul them with the 4 wheeler to the burn spot. It worked great, the leaves were gone. Now its all work and I have mulched

leaves from 3 years ago laying on the perimeter of the property . I have to leaf vac them every weekend of the fall or they get so thick they are unmanageable for the mower.

Sooooo...... this year I have decided to burn some and take a chance on being fined.

    Doggy
