I have a list, but I'm not telling!

I didn't do an exhaustive check but I believe that there are two people who have not posted here yet. Scotty has been identified as one. Nobody has complained about non-receipt so I assume all gifts have been received. It is rather tedious to paw through these threads, I had it hard enough just figuring out if I had everybody in the signup thread.

Look for it in the stickies. It's easy to get in the habit of skipping over them tho.

I had BrianK. Was completely stumped on what to get until I called my local Sugar Momma to see if she had any of that Maple Pepper Glaze that I like as I have been out of it for a while, and the light bulb went on. The glaze was fresh made 2 weekends ago. the syrup is this past season. Drove over the river and through the woods (literally) to get it. Enjoy :)

Made up similar baskets for the family...they all loved it

    I like it all!

When I was in college I worked as a caretaker for the college field station on a local lake. The field station was an old farmstead with a huge sugar maple grove. My job was to cut and stack enough slabwood through the winter for the sugar shack for the maple syrup production, and then to help gather the tree sap and make the syrup. We would make homemade waffles with homemade vanilla ice cream on top, slathered in syrup hot out of the pan whenever we fired up a batch.

Here's the sugar shack and the old homestead out at Lake Raystown PA:

And I worked in a grocery store, pumped gas (yes children someone use to pump your gas for you) and put Boston Sunday Globe newspapers together. Your college work sounds WAY better

It really was a great work study assignment. But it only lasted during the school year. During the summers I worked in a paper factory and did construction and spent a night or two during weekends working as a bouncer.

In New Jersey, a qualified individual is required to pump your gas for you by state law. No joke. And gas is much cheaper there than around here, go figure.
