    This is what I think of when I hear the term; "flying Beaver".......................DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver

    These little planes are the "cats dupa" IMHO!!! Never forget flying in these when I went caribou hunting on the Kenai peninsula in Alaska in '98!!!

    does anyone go pickup the parachutes ? why not a floatplane ? i just got up and this is the first thing i see perhaps i am overthinking it ,and that song is very odd but quite catchy in a strange way :picard:

    hey stinny,since this is beaver day ( this will likely go bad as the day passes ) im reminded of a story ,my grandfather was a trapper and did work for the govt and state on occasion when there were beaver problems ,one time in the 70s he was in a local newspaper in a beaver story ,a woman wrote to the paper saying what an evil, mean, bloodthirsty .... etc. guy he was ,well a few years later the same woman called him when her property was flooded by beavers , he called her a hypocrite and it's the first time i heard a particular word women dont like and i repeated it on the way home in the car ,i remember it like it was yesterday. and i have these news papers still and read them every few years.

    Well the foliage is starting to be past peak, and the moose festivals are over so, yea, I guess it's just the flying beavers.:emb:
