Well, this would be a done deal if it wasn't for a broken spring clip.

Yep it did, had that rope you sent just hanging around waiting for it's time-- or for me to have time to put it on!

Yep, going out for car parts tomorrow. Will delay my cutting til saturday, looks like its supposed to rain tomorrow anyway. Will be driving past about three dealers. The MS250 just doesn't have the horses to cut the locust well, so I want to put the 20" bar on the 034super.

I have to order some parts for vehicles as well. The Sequoia needs a front brake job and I need to replace the front driver sluggish window motor. YIKES at the prices of toyota driver window motors.

Got the new spring, everything back together. Don't think I am getting any spark-- maybe its electrical, has some issue with the switch previously. Might not be getting fuel either. Also, the pull handle is now done for! Nickle and dime! Wouldn't be bad if I didn't live 20 miles from the nearest dealer!

Put some mix in a spray bottle and quiet it in the carb. If it pops then you have spark.

Make sure the spring is not grounding out when its suppose to be on.

You can pull the wire out of the clip to be sure.

If that checks out. Could be a coil most likely.

You can put a cheap aftermarket handle or anything you may have laying around on something old to get you going.

Just tied a knot around the handle for now while I trouble shoot, going to look for spark in the dark.

Spark = Yes, Gas = No.

Will figure it out tomorrow in the light.

So you have spark. But your not getting fuel. It will start up and fire if you get fuel in the carb throat?

I would check to see if fuel filter is stopped up. Loosen and then retighten the fuel cap to eliminate the vent and retry to start. If no luck I would rebuild the carb and you should be good.

Man when it rains it pours!

Rebuilding carb-- that's not a thing I've ever done before but I would like to learn the skill. My brother sends stuff to shop all the time for carb rebuilding, maybe I could be the shop in the future...
