Fresh fire wood for sale - $300 (Chambersburg pa)
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

We just had a tree cut down and I have the wood for sale. Red Oak wood that looks very nice, but since it's fresh it would probably have to sit until next year. Would be a lot of wood if someone chipped it. Must come pick up, I can help load. Will need trailer, or several stops. Please call 7-one-7-3-nine-eight-8-0-two-nine. Thanks!

Wow that might be worth $300 cut split and seasoned around here. Crazy what people think stuff is worth.

I thought about calling and offering to haul it away at no cost. It being so close and all. I am thinking maybe there is more not in the photos? Even C/S/S that is only about $50.00 worth.

    free firewood (tyrone)

Hello, we are getting rid of our christmas tree and I thought someone might want it for firewood. If you are interested let me know you will have to haul away and cut into firewood yourself of course. I can put in the driveway for easy loading.

Re Piano Free to a good home (Berkeley Springs, WV)

    At first I thought

"Now why would someone from West Virginia be posting in Altoona's Free section?"

Then I read the full post and understood.

"Cable Nelson Piano approximately 40 - 50 years old, in good condition, FREE, you need to move."

So you are saying that the piano becomes mine free of cost if I should move to West Virginia. I must say that is hardly free and a condition far too great for me to accommodate at this time.

Perhaps when I am older and my children have grown. Maybe in my Autumn years I could move to the outskirts of Berkeley Springs West Virginia; Hang my hat in another world and let it all carry on without me. I may ponder my life and decisions as I daydream of the exciting lives my kids are now leading without me. I would worry for them and could use a shoulder in my waning years, but I have to ask. Will your piano wait for me? If not then I can most surely say, I am not moving anywhere for your selfish piano.

Then as I was driving home I was thinking,
"Perhaps 'Free, You need to move' might mean 'Act now! this sure won't be around for long with the super affordable price tag of FREE!' "

But then I got this reply and knew any hope for humanity might be swirling the drain.

    http://altoona.craigslist.org/zip/4684159266.html

what I get from the ad is you can have it for free but you have to move it yourself. it is weird that they are placing the ad in our neck of the woods...

    Oh... My... God....

Yes thank you for chiming in Sir or Ma'am. You have single handedly and most perfectly cleared up any potential confusion for the word obtuse.

But what is this? The chime of arrival! Something has graced the inbox of my gmail account! Surely something positive and a glimmer of hope that intelligence has not expired completely.

I rush to see what it could be.

Oh thank you! Mr/Mrs. Davis has reinvigorated hope with this simple and direct communiqué !

    That's Great!
    hanks for the laugh!

Well I know what I'm gonna do today! :tree::saw::picard:

Wood, free. Two rules: 1. You gotta load your truck (I think one full size pickup should do it).
    2. You gotta take it all. No picking and choosing.
One large brush pile. Sticks and branches from the trees in the yard.
Six logs, maybe two feet long.
    8 or 10 short boards.
    A bunch of 2 X 2's (20? 30?) up to 8 feet long.
    A pile of pine branches.

After I get the crappy wood and branches I'm gonna swing by and get this great deal:

I have a hugggeee older tv that im looking to get rid of it does not work as i tried to plug it in once we even got it into my room which is located on 3rd floor of our house. Its veryy heavy you will need lots of big people to get it out(dont want any to get hurt) My father and his friend used a dolly which barely even worked to get it up these flights of stairs almost dropping the tv bunch of times. With it being hit so much by bringing it up the stairs it just dont work turns on but nothing. So kinda getting rid of it for junk or whatever you want to do with it. It is up 3 flights of stairs, VERY HEAVY, you will need big strongg guys to remove it from the 3rd floor and out. Would love to have this tv gone very soon. Thanks!
