What Did You Get?

Not planned, but the kids moved Christmas to one of my daughter's. We lost our power, water etc. they all came together for the Christmas Eve celebration. Then Christmas Day we were guest in three other of the kids home. Late in the afternoon, our power came back on. I got a few things, but nothing compared to theses family gatherings.
These are the grand kids. All of them getting along well.

I got a humidifier to keep my old azz from getting more wrinkled up

 

You will like that gift. Because you don't have to drag a cord around, or fuel it up with gas, and because it is so much lighter, you may find yourself using it more often. Just remember to keep a battery in the charger so it will always be ready when it is convenient for you.

 

I asked for lights. I have a detached garage with no electricity yet. And there is always spots that are generally hard to see even with lights in my garage with heat and lights! LOL, like when working on the tractor or one of the vehicles. So I generally go out there with my cap on that has a clip on light that clips on under the cap.

My wife got me another cap, camo colored, that has the lights built into the cap. These are very convenient. Light points where you are looking and your hands are free.

This light was another gift from her and kids. I've not seen these before. It has friction/tension hinges so you can stand it up, lay it down and angle it while in any position. There are holes through it so you can hang it. Has two bungee hooking straps that are around the outside and one end with hook comes out so you can hook and hang it anywhere. On the back is three strong magnets so you can stick it to magnetic things. The two LED super bright lights are very strong. AA batteries. Cool light that should come in handy.

 

I didn't take pics yet, crappy weather out today (rain not snow)
I got some splitter parts for x-mas. I asked for a work table for my ariens 22 ton and my wife came through.
My son thought I was nuts asking for things like that. what was even better was his sister got him a new fiskars x25
after I got my splitter stuff....I didn't say a word. Got some new Red Wings and some hand tools.
New frame starting Jan 6th, good timing!

 

Sounds like you did well for x-mas. Good excuse with the weather and no pics Oslo. But, it is nice inside where the tools and boots are! LOL Pics. Or your makin that chit up.

That Log Dog looks like it could make for the perfect bottle opener if the edge of the inside of the ring had a lip cut into it right above the 5/8.

He's 11. He doesn't quite get into playing cars and trucks with dad anymore but it is still fun watching him put them Legos together. There were some comments made about 'Dads log delivery truck'.

I fear you're mixing your movie metaphors. Are you referring to Archvillian Gru from Despicable Me or one of the Profs from Monsters U.?

 

Both, it is "oblivious" to anyone that our ole buddy smoke both went to Monster U and had the Despicable One as a professor.

ETA1&3: Currently I've been on hold with an Insurance Company to track down an 835, the machine said the average wait was 18 minutes it has been 45 minutes so far. Almost 1 hour before they picked up. Everything is set. As per usual late.

ETA2: This morning it was dealing with the state another example of taxpayer dollars at work.
