I'm on vacation this week, so we will be processing as much wood as possible. Just finished up processing what was in the yard, which brings up to all most two core ready for next year, with a goal of 5.5. We are headed to the in laws soon so we are done for the day already (meh) and tomorrow starts off with a dentist appointment. From there it's time for the wood dump, process it as we unload it. Truck and trailer a day for three days and I think we might be there!
You can count on the wood dump for having wood? Do not many folks burn in your area? I'm jealous. The only thing I ever see at the brush pile at the dump is brush. People just don't discard logs of any kind around here.
We have 4 of them we visit, at least two of them have a decent stock right meow. One has a whole bunch, but is further than the rest. So we will hit all the closer ones until we exhaust them and then go to the distal one.
Just finished up the last of our non-wood duties for the week. About to load up Henry with supplies and a trailer and head to the tree dump. Taking a picnic kit as well.
Yep, going to try to at least get the trailer load split and stacked tonight. We did get a late start, so we might not get the truckload processed before nightfall.
Got some very lumber like splits, it's not box elder. Stacked two rows at once while we had nice pieces for cribbing.
