Not that need too but I can't pass up the price of $30 a truck load already cut and split that's only 20 min from my house. A lot of ash and mixed hardwood. Some is already seasoned for a year

Once I look at what's available,I'm told there is at least 25 truck loads that the sellers want gone. They don't burn wood don't really care about selling wood. They cut down what was in their way to build a lake and just want some money back to cover fuel cost and chain costs

I may make a offer to buy all and just bring in a loader and tri axle and haul it

Sad part is I'm already ahead. My main problem is finding a place to put it all

A guy from the lodge sells at a very discounted rate like $10 a truck load or $20 to senior citizens I'm going to see if he would like to buy some but he can sell that cheap because the wood he sells them is free to him. And he don't really care if they pay him or not but if he buys some he will have to charge at least the amount it cost him to buy it

That price doesn't even cover costs if you value your time at minimum wage! Get it all!

I'd be buying and offering a split portion to anyone with a skid steer and dump trailer in exchange for your delivery.

I'm going to check it out tomorrow. I will be going with a friend who is introducing me to the sellers as far as I know I'm the only way be betting access to it

With that said let me survey the situation and I'll be more than happy to let you get a few loads. From what I'm told there are at least 25 plus I'm not going have room for it all on top of what I have already

Wow! I really wish I was able to get a bang-up deal like that around here, but no such luck. That's probably why I always have that black cloud that follows me everywhere.:tears:

Excellent, I'd appreciate the jump on my stock. I have almost enough for this year and would like to get a jump start for 16-17. I'll have ample oak to process this winter but from this site don't want to use it till the 17-18 year. Excellent resource on this site. It's the first forum I've ever joined... Thanks for the welcome Backwoods.

Glen how much do you think you want

There is some that is seasoned a year and some that is fresh cut All together about 30 truck loads all ash

Message me and we can hammer down the details if your interested. As far as I'm concerned you can have it all. It's easy to get to drive right to it load and go $30 a load as much as you can get in your truck I have too much to cut down still to even try and haul more in

    It's close for you too

Was it emerald ash hurt? Earlier you'd mentioned pushed down.. We just treated 7 trees out back the house, still have more that it already got but hate to chance moving more here... If not damaged I'd look to try to get one or two truck and trailer loads at least, which would be about 2.5 short bed loads...might be able to take my Dad a load or two as well if you don't need...
