It's been cold enough here all day, that I can see my breath when I'm outside.
I went back out and grabbed a couple more loads and almost got the stack filled.
One more loosely thrown load in the small trailer and that stack is done.

Game's ovah. Did that just happen?:dex:
Just thinkin' about how I want to proceed....put a row in front of those or continue with this one. If I continue, the wood gets closer to the road, but it's still at least 100' away.

Ok, so I had a brainstorm, or something. Decided to move the Maple up front, so I finished up the Oak from out back, then set some more posts for the Maple. I'm gonna go 24' to start, then try to get some more from the cutting floor this year too.
Here's a couple pics of the Oak @5', and the start of the Maple.

I forgot, there's still another 2/3 cord of Oak in the field to get too.
Stacked a small bit of the Ash in the shed also.
Now, if the thieves will leave it alone....................

Who needs a fence when you can make a wood wall like that! Gonna use your method along my back property line. How long are your verticle posts?
