Not yet over here. Been running it for a few hours at night before bed, but it's not cold enough to let it run all night yet. That could change soon though, supposed to be a cold weekend with 50s during the day and 30s at night. Not long till it's running every night...

Normally I have been just turning the stove on for the AM chilly removal service. Past couple I have wimped out and fired it. 68*F seems nice outside, But for some odd reason cold in the shack!

That's just depressing to look at. Really. Time for some Beer therapy. :D

Temps here are starting to drop rapidly, seems like everyone is waking up with the cooler weather - LOTS of folks processing wood around the past few days, chainsaws a'plenty "singing" outside this week.

(Saw you pic of the Quad in the thread, that was a pretty stove, Thanks for posting it.)

Lots to do here before everything freezes to the ground for the next 8 months.. Stay warm everyone!

It is depressing. . 30° for a low tonight and gonna be colder tomorrow with a "wintery mix" at night.. 29° is the forecast tomorrow night.

    29°!!! What the!!!

At 30° I normally run the stove on High/Low. But that isn't supposed to be until December. Gonna go with on/off tonight.

Pilot is set to 60 minutes. The stove will idle for 60 minutes. If the house drops below temp before then, the stove ramps up. The pilot has an Always off, 30 min, 45 min, 60 min, and always on (high/low).

Pellets EZ Blaze both kinds and some Platinum's [not the O ones ;)] and anything else that I find good out there .

Beer my usual 30's of Blue Smoothies till we get close to the Holidays then I splurge a little and get a few cases of the" designer Beers", like S A White Xmas .

First fire will be tonight for sure with temps dropping to the mid-upper twenties. My current stash is a little over 4 ton of Lacrete and 22 bags of Corinth. So far I have not found any decent mid price pellet at a price worth buying to add to the stash. Last night I finally found some MWP at Walmart in Newington but they still want 5 bucks a bag.

I need to find that guy at Middleton lumber back around 2008 (I think) that said "you wont pay more than 150-170/ton" :picard:

It really is a nice unit. With 2 blowers for combustion (one before the pot and one after the pot, that can both be adjusted up or down 10%, feed can be a just ed up or down 5%, that pilot feature with 5 options, bottom feed, all motors can be ran independently for testing, and it's self troubleshoots when it has a problem (after shutdown, it tells you what happened and why).

I'm a huge fan of this model. It has great heat output. On its lowest setting, I was getting 224° air temps out of the exchanger (1" from tube) last night

I'd recommend the Enerzone Eurostar or Osburn 5000 (same unit) to anyone.

Had to scrape my windshield this morning as it wasn't the "spray with WW fluid" type. And that was at just before 7 am, so it was warming up.
