I'm always ready for snow by this time every year... and ready for warmer weather by the end of March. Wow... 2 months of swimming? We only get July 4th... ;)

I keep a day or 2's worth inside and keep about a cord at a time out on my back, covered deck.

I believe it was president Wilson that described Vermont a 10 months of winter followed by 2 months of cold weather! I imagine Maine, NH northern NY and Quebec would be similar. Family has decided when pool goes needs to be replaced by hot tub in a gazebo soon can be used 10 months of the year! that's why 6 foot snowblower goes on tractor.. My family is nuts go to sterling pond on top of Smugglers Notch in July to gobswimming.. it's usually 55 degrees and new years day for ice skating. . of course it's a 3 mile hike up the notch to go skating:doh:
