    We usually have a bit bigger tree but we always get a Fraser fir and cut our own the weekend before Christmas. This year we went to a tree farm where the Frasers were a bit smaller than usual.

    I thought I would add this in. I was up early this morning at about 5:30. Loaded the boiler up, it got cold here last night so it was hungry for breakfast early. This was taken before the kids got up. That big man in the red suit has some magic up his sleeve!

    The mantle stone, sitting on top the brick "posts" with the pictures setting on it. It's about 6' long, 14" deep and 4" thick.
