Organized some of my ratchets tonight.

 

No pictures of it, but scored a 12" Dewalt chop double miter saw on CL for $30 with a nearly new Freud blade - not bad. About a month ago, went to a yard sale down the road to check out a couple Stihl 028 - left with the saws, a nice older Makita sawzall, a small jack, + hedgetrimmer and new propane stove for $100. Figured I could part out one 028, make one runner, and be out about 0$ for the deal. Nice finds above! Cheers!

 

I've got so much stuff I'm enclosing a leanto off the side of main shop just so I can clear out the truck bays. I've been working on selling/clearing out 26x82 and 18x52 outbuildings the last 8 years. Making a little headway but not much. Finding deals on new stuff and filling them back up.

 

I see a flying squirrel in that box!!

Went yardsaling this morning with my oldest daughter in our old neighborhood. Picked up this Makita cordless driver drill with metal case for $2.00. Now to see if the battery will hold a charge...

 

Thanks, I put the cell in the charger and the drill works. The test will be whether it is dead in the morning.

 

Also picked up this air powered nailer and a Craftsman tool box for $15 from the guy I bought the Milwaukee 28 volt tools from a couple of years ago.

 

I've been in want of a proper hose reel for a couple of years now. Came across one for $90 on CL, and because it was a Reelcraft I knew it was a solid deal. Checked value for a new one and it's hundreds of dollars. Score. Now I need to figure a way to mount it.

This was an hour after I won two golf clubs at my company picnic in a raffle. Not really a tool but makes for a pretty productive afternoon.

 

Seems like barely anything in the last decade unless base models of lower vehicles even has drums anymore?

 

What is that red thing that looks like a red plastic moose antler in the top of the $30 tool box?

 

I have the same one. I bought it at harbor freight when I bought my house in 08. In paid $88. I have shot thousands of nails with it in like 6 different guns. Filled many tires blown lots of stuff and used an impact to change and rotatemany tires and run a few air tools. It can't really keep up with high demand stuff and the impact has to have it catch up after a wheel or two. Its about worn out now. But I had e got my money out of it. Next one I bug will Jack e about 3x the capacity.

 

Got a similar one with two batteries. Mine is in a plastic box. The batteries are weak and wont stay charged. You can use them as soon as you charge them but they just dont last long.

 

It's a dog toy called a flying squirrel. It acts about like a frisbee, but it "hovers" a little better.

I lucked out again last week on the auctions. Picked up a 8'-16' Fiskars telescoping tree pruner, brand new, for $10. Also got a nice Dewalt 15 gal 200psi air compressor for $80 that works perfectly, but might have been used for a day or so, and a Ryobi table saw, new in box but missing the nuts and bolts to assemble the stand, for $40. And in other news, my wife told me I was banned from going to that auction site for the next couple months.

 

Good to know! I was a little worried about it based on several bad reviews, but for the price I paid it was worth the risk. I'm happy so far, I finally have a compressor large enough to use an impact wrench!

 

I walked a home Depot returns building and there were hundreds of those tablesaws everywhere...

 

I need to get rid of this pile, this is my extra wagon pile of tools.
