    Living room floor done and protected. Now time to fix the hole where a built in used to be. The beams there are massive. About 13" wide and 4" thick. Not sure what species of wood but hard as a rock and defiantly not pine or oak. Cool to think that the beams were at one time trees that were on the property...

    Pull both of them BUT make sure you mark them so they go back on the same..................nipples. :D

    shop vac is blowing out ash dust. Put new bag in. Checked bag attached, re-seated the motor, still blowing ash. Ideas?

    You don't need to remove the wiring, just the hoses going to the switch. Make sure you unplug the stove before doing so.

    What kind of filter do you have in it? If it's just a standard one, that's your problem.
