Ashwatcher, Did you type the whole name out? Cos if you did, and it looks like you did, it don't work. As soon as you get 3 letters in (or 2 letters and a space) it'll kick in... WV Mountaineer..... See?
I did stop at 3 letters and nothing came up...just downloaded iOS 9. whatever the other day-freaky things been happening, I downloaded the most recent fix of the update-hopefully it corrects it-How are you my friend? And @WV M , (see how it comes out-yes the bucks body is small but you dont grow that type of rack with stickers and mass without some age and the bountiful mast crop we had last year-kinda spotty here this year
I did to both phone and iPad-always have faith in Apple, if they say to download, I do---I trust this finds you and all well...planning on cutting with bow closeby on Sat but I think the tropical storms will be playing out here by then-am scheduled to play golf in Beckley on Friday...hope to get it in before it arrives...
Just got notification that iOS 9.02 is ready for download, correcting more glitches...gonna have it run btwn 2-5am so we'll see...
I play the wind for sure-my ball flight is generally straight, I dont slice but do snap hook a bit trying to play a draw (for non-golfers thats a nice right to left ball flight) its just another hobby to enjoy Gods creation and spend time with friends...I gave up the competitive angle a few years ago...now its just thanking God for letting my feet hit the floor each day....
Yep, you are big buck country. Kanawha, Raliegh, Fayette, Lincoln, Boone, etc... has the terrain to get deer BIG. He has some age on him. Look at that longer nose. I'd be surprised if he was over 3.5 though. He is just a great deer regardless. And, the bumper acorn crop last year has sure put the deer in great shape this fall. No acorns much around here either. Just scattered and very light when you do find them. God Bless
Called my guy for another 2/3 cord today. Got his answering machine, but expect a call back. I'll post pics.
He called this morning. Showed up a couple hours later. About the same mix of Ash, Oak, and maybe a little more Red Maple. I can use it all, but I really want the Ash. I have access to as much Oak and Red Maple as I can cut, anytime I want. Can't say the same about the Ash. It's Ok, I'm buying my way back into the hoarding fold. I don't have it all stacked yet, but.. Pics to follow.................. This is MUCH easier than the way I've been getting my firewood.
I would just mention it to him Dave and tell him you would like to have a couple loads of nothing but Ash, and see what he says. Can't hurt to ask my friend.
Pics of most of the last batch stacked. Finished the one next to the shed....... The stack in the field..........
Speaking of deer, when I went back out to take pics, Casper stopped and was looking across the field. When I got next to him, there were several deer about 40-50 yards across the field looking back at us. By the time I got the phone ready this is all I could get. Prolly about 10 of 'em'. Buncha white tails.
So,.......this happened. Notice anything out of place? I JUST stacked this. Might be time to start with the cross stacked end method. :stacke: Kinda' difficult for that post to hold up anything when it's laying down on the job. Dennis, you don't have to say a word.
It's what I get for using popple. Also known as rot wood. They break if you sneeze in their direction. I'll figure it out.....just can't bring myself to redo it right now.
