This was my comment to them:
bad customer service. One of our forum members went into your store Friday at Quakertown. "I politely ask what brands they have instock. I get the customers get whatever is next to come out of the backroom speech. He said this store does not allow customers in the back to select their choice of pellets any longer and besides they are all hardwood pellets anyway. I smiled and just walked out." and from another member "that really is disappointing on all levels" and "Thanks for the info on the Q town TSC I work down that way and have to travel to see my grower down in Souderton ,I was thinking of swinging in on day to see what they have . I guess what they have is Bad Customer Service ,Not wasting my time." Not all pellets are the same or equal. No more so than all cereal is the same. You are loosing sales and getting a bad rep. in a forum of folks who are pellet burners. That is poor service. I know you have your label on many different brands, but we can tell who made what by the codes. What is strange is the reception to this is different at your stores, and between staff at your stores. Not the same as at Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart. your stores are the only ones that give us that "all pellets are same" jargon. Please, only email response. I don't answer the phone
I didn't say who or what forum. Just the comments that they need to be aware of at the management level.

Thanks for your assistance. I've dealt with these guys for years and even bought my first pellet stove from them. Maybe he was just in a mood.

yes, maybe, but to spout off policy with attitude is more than a bad hair day. I got hit with that a while back. Your comments was enough for me to think, that is it, Enough. I felt it is time to hold them responsible. Kind of like the thing on the news tonight where a cop was told no service at the Dunkin Donut. Bristling about that too! At least I know that was a single employee, not the company, but it is the second time in the last couple months.

The part that sucks is, that same employee would be on the phone to get police if someone was robbing the place.
