    little heater skelter, as Amtrack went off rails on road coming back from uncles, hope every one was ok... train hit rocks on track outside of Roxbury... go figure... You stop to help 10 minutes later sheriff's get there and basically say do nothing ambulances is on way.. good time to leave..

    Thanks bud.
    This isn't something that punches me in the gut so much. Just hard to get your head around her niece standing on a dock waiting (3days) to recover her husband - and he floated up not far from the dock Coasties pulled him in. I guess we all become kind of indifferent about hearing about drowning's on the news, search and recovery etc. meantime family members waiting, knowing the loved one is gone.
    Couldn't imagine being in that position myself

    That was from a few weeks ago sure was a nice day, hot but nice and calm no fish that day either but any day is a good day to get out on the boat except this past weekend with gale warnings and 14' waves haha

    Caffeine going down. Weather has been nice and it looks like it will be that way the next three days. :thumbs:

    Then rain on Friday. Hopefully I can get some more piles of branches/brush/stumps burned up in the rain that day.

    My honey and I are headed to our cabin this morning for a quick check, mow & lunch. Last time we were there we burned a brush pile on snow... no activity at all this summer (late spring and summer flies drive ya right off the hill)... :headbang: Wish us luck... ;)

    After a short road trip, came home to find out that our streets should be blacktopped yesterday. The crews worked past dark but didn't get to the house. They have yet to return to our street today...
    So, I think it's off to the cottage; grab the truck-then grab some wood.
    And the colors are just great!
