Stopped by my local TSC in Quakertown yesterday afternoon. Wanted to see what they had in stock for pellets. As I walk in the front door they are just unwrapping a fresh pallet of Freedom Fuel pellets. I notice the clerk is the same guys I've dealt with for years at this TSC. I politely ask what brands they have instock.
I get the customers get whatever is next to come out of the backroom speech. He said this store does not allow customers in the back to select their choice of pellets any longer and besides they are all hardwood pellets anyway. I smiled and just walked out.

That's the store where I purchased my first pellet stove about 8 yrs ago and I have purchased many tons over the years. I was asking them to rearrange their warehouse so I could get pellets from a buried stack. In past years they have just walked me to the back room and showed me what they have. Guess it's good that I can deal with Joe Bucks Pellets. Everything I have for this year came from Joe.

I picked up a ton of the regular EZ Blaze late Spring, I like the sample bags so I pulled the trigger. You could try and see if a different person at TSC will yield different results. I have my pellets for this year but always like to see what's around. I know TSC gets Set's at certain stores so I continue to look!

The Okie DFs sell as quickly as we land them. But the loads keep coming so if you want them we got them.

Thanks for the plug. Isn't it nice to be able to pick and choose which brand you want?

That makes the hair on my neck stand up. Just poor service. I have experienced that at one time here. so I did take the time to write to TSC headquarters and inform them what is going on is costing them sales. :headbang:
