    Was cool and rainy today. The house was damp. Did not take much convincing to start the first fire of the season.

    43 degrees with rain here. Fire been going all day and will continue through the night tonight too. Only 11 degrees from ice so that rain is a cold one.

    Just hit 45 here with wind and some rain have had a small fire going with the cut off ends of cherry, maple, ash and some left over Apple branch pieces from the smoker pile

    Got a Lopi 1750i wood insert tucked in the fireplace that was wrecked when we bought the house. It's on its fourth season and heats or 1100 sf ranch perfectly great little stove
