    Stared at the stove last night. It was 65 in the house, 42 outside. Stared at the thermostat. Put on a sweater. Had a cuppa. Finally said, "may as well break in that new block off plate" and loaded it up and fired it.
    Still has some glowing coals after 12 hours! Never happened before.:dancer:
    I will try to control myself.
    45 this morning, went up to 50 now at 11:30. Still windy, rainy.

    Annual pumpkin weigh off, with the annual crappy weather. There were some big 'uns, but we didn't stick around very long. Windy and 45, with the rain making it extra crappy.

    Hauled out 9 loads of hickory and white oak. Dug taters. Changed oil in the splitter. Rain started before I could get the chimney clean.

    GF took off to Louisiana this morning, her niece's husband fell off his flat bottom boat heading out to a shrimp boat yesterday afternoon.

    They haven't found him yet - probably no good outcome
