46 at the moment. Had first small fire last night, got a second going now. Still learning stove calibration. Box is black ... and boring. Don't think I like this black box low burn stuff ... may save it for when I am sleeping. From what I have read .75 seems to be the sweet spot for Fireview, but not sure if that means top, middle or bottom of handle; I guess this could be .5, .75 or 1 depending. What say ye Fireview owners?

    Nice reflection picture :)

    We were at 35 @6am.
Put 5 pine splits in the stove. It's still warm, and so's the house. 50 now, with a breeze.
    Had 2 last night.

Close to 30 this morning and 66 in the house. Still no fire and the furnace is off. At least it is sunny today so should get some heat from the old sol.

48 degrees outside and 65 inside but no fire yet. If the wife complains tonight then I'll have no choice but I usually start once the thermostat gets to 60 on a regular basis

Finally caved in and started the stove here . No sun in days so the house cooled down. Nice and toasty now.

Supply is pretty good. Most of my stacks consist of larch, then some lodgepole pine, fir, white birch, spruce and a bit off apple that Im saving for Christmas day. All top covered and on pallets. Double rows of 18 inchers mostly.
