Now that it's unloaded, there's a few smaller rounds I'm gonna' go back for in a few minutes.

While I was there, I took a walk back to where I had been working on some Oak this past spring........forgot I cut some rounds and left 'em.:picard:
It was getting windy, so I hustled outta' there, but I need to go back for all that Oak. There's a nice 60-70' trunk plus a bunch more just sitting there waiting for me.
So much firewood, so little time.

That's gonna be me in about 2 weeks. I need to get the ball rolling ASAP. I was supposed to go out tomorrow but this rain is slowing things down. I have a guy down the street that has some logs on his rock wall, I'm gonna ask him if I can take them away. He also has a decent size tree limb also. If he lets me , I'll take it and post pics

Anudder 1/2 load today. Tried to drop another small one right where I was working, but it made friends with a nearby Oak and got all snuggly with it....up in the air.
I'll have to pull it down or wait for a storm.:headbang:

Finished with the first stack of Maple for next year this afternoon. 5' high X 16' X 18". Might go ahead and make slightly taller to equal a full cord, but it's very close as it sits.
    Next stack coming soon.:dex:

I used my most recently made pickaroon to retrieve wood in the trailer today and it worked like a charm.

Nice looking stack PD! Really close to a cord as it sits. :) I try to get my stacks to 1/2 cord each so stack I stack it higher and then I had a couple tip on me. :picard: Just shy is ok too....

    You got some work done!
