first fire for 2015, NZ3000 is AWAKE!!

    Ok so it wasn't very cold but the damp, cool breeze and lack of sun, plus wifey and the kids all huddled up in the great room watching the Steelers game, we decided to light the first fire off. Just a few small splits of red and white oak and a piece of 200 year old Barnwood scrap......

    Lit the tinder bundle made from some pine noodles.....

    Fire cruising nicely!! Took the chill out of the house quick!!

    And a photo of the fall decor lit up. Mrs. Overkill has been a busy little bee decorating the house for fall!

    That looks awesome! But we expect overkill from you, and your wife regarding decorations. ;)

    Why did Tomlin not try the field goal in OT? I know, scooby doo missed 2x from similar distance, but still. Bad call Mike.

    Always a nice feel when the air starts to turn a bit brisk and you can light the fire inside. As I think I've said before you did a wonderful job on the build brother and your wife like mine likes to decorate the hearth for the season......they just look so much better with a woman's touch.
