I agree it is a bit too early Dave. Do you have the studded tires on the bike yet? Chilly here today but mostly because of the wind. 22-36mph wind all day and most of the day in low 50's. More of the same coming the next several days but no frost expected yet here. It can't be too far away though.
To think I was sweating my arse off clearing the hillside up the drive with 82F.... and jumped in the pool again(its cold @67) That's what our "BIG" snowfalls down here in AL look like in January/February well they shut everything down
Fairbanks had about 2 feet of wet stuff Schools closed, power outages, roads a mess, 15,000 with out power. News article: Fairbanks Sept blizzard May not melt like ours did , well, until May of 2016 anyway.
That has to be nasty coming this early. Well, North Pole is not far away so maybe Santa can get in some early trial runs?
yea have several Fall chores to do. Got moose cut up & in the freezer today. To start raining again tomorrow. Hope to be able to get in the woods & get a few loads this month. There's alway Spring cutting if I need to go that route. Nice having 3 years CSS & under roof, give me some options.
Yea, keeping it here is a good thing, we need snow in the mtns, After low snow totals in the mtns last winter, local rivers & creeks were low this summer. It melted here, but hanging on in the mtns getting rain now but some day soon, it will change back to the white stuff .
