    Overnight on Tue, had low's in the upper 20's! The outside water in shallow puddles was hard and all the roofs were white with frost. Last night, it stayed above freezing-for the most part.
    Furnace had been running....

    35 at 7 this am.
    Had a fire, then added some more. Letting the stove go cold until this evening or overnight.
    Nice sitting in front of the stove with my coffee this morning.......until my knees caught on fire.:rofl: :lol:
    J/K, but they did get toasty.:thumbs:

    We've been getting down to -2c, -4c with frost for awhile now so Ive been doing a top down pine fire in the evening and then a 3/4 load of doug fir after that. House is 23c when the family is up in the morning. Afternoon temps have been all over the place but typically 15c-18c so solar loading is taking care of things until I repeat.

    52 right now due to the rain. I think in about 2 weeks I'll light the Jotul up for its 1st burn unless the wife complains that it's cold

    Had to fire mine up tonight cause just couldn't stand not to....It is about 64 in, not really cold but wanted to see fire so I did....:)

    HAZARDS...FREEZING TEMPERATURES.

    I brought the last of the tomatoes in and the last of the hot pepper plants are inside so I can enjoy more hot tomato salads.
