Thinking of doing a chain build off like we have done many times in the past. Thread Chain build off All times and video will be posted just like in ALL past chain builds. Dont send anything if you cant live by past many many years rules.
Results with times and video will be posted of each chain and person making claim to filing. None of this hiding results BS like some want. Just so you all know up front.
Yes we were going to run a stock PS chain in the mix to get times from too. Is that the chain you talk about? That way can see gains. Used to do that with saw builds too to see the gains or not.
Better read the thread not 60dl. Sounds like you really really need to read the thread on time frame.
Ya thats what i meant, if you guys have a loop as a base just use that, if not I was just going to throw a round chain in there for perspective.
I dont brag on my filing shaun. I cant file for chit and admitted it for years. But I dont ask for times to be hidden either, I have nothing to hide or ashamed of.
Like I said, I'm down. Wanting to make it funner by filing side by side since it felt like you took a shot at me
Taking shots at dudes for no reason isnt nice, better if we all just got along. What do you think ? ______________________________ I am in this too .................. it will be good to see the times and videos of the cuts
I'm in... My chain will be the one that doesn't make it in time because the mail man lost it lol I suck at filing. I didn't read the whole thread. Is it limited to links? I seen 45? Or was it 49? I have a 60 DL LP
BTW, when is this gonna go down Kev? I would drive down and help with video? I can't file a chain, but I can stand there and watch really good. : )
I'm concerned the little Echo may not have enough power to pull the chains! Lol... The rakers on that PS ain't exactly high to start with!
My 25cc echo pulled stock PS chain just fine with 6. I do need to check and see if the 39cc will pull it ok with 3/8 7. I know it pulled 325 with 7 fine. But I need to know. I just want this to be about the chain. Not some over powered ported saw slinging the little stuff at crazy speeds. Thats why I liked testing chains on stock saws to get the real pic of them cutting.
I will do my best to keep it baby saw friendly.. And exert the least amount of work possible to get that done. Lol.. Might take an extra glass on the rocks to think it through.. And stuff..
