well kinda. My four year old today slipped and fell into the corner of a wooden chair. 5 stitches to sew up his forehead.

Little guy never cried or made sound he watched as the dr sew him up. Told the dr he was a tough ole bird. Hell I didn't even watch when the dr sewed up my knee up

Good thing my wife is a ER nurse. We going to have preferred rewards card at this rate ugh

Never had to hold him down either I was quite shocked really I told him before we went that it's prob going to hurt some when they do it. He asked if it hurt when they stitched my knee I told him the truth. It did hurt a little but I didn't cry lol. He said ok.

I'm im the medical field my self. Most kids if you even let them see a bp cuff go ape. Quite surprised by his calm demeanor. I honestly thought it was going to be like baptizing a cat. I'm eating crow now lol

Cut that chair up and let him feed it to the stove.

    He sure is, Wood!
I'm a firm believer if the children aren't exposed to maniacally reacting parents, they'll be as they see- calm. Kudos on your handling of the situation, and I'm sure mom was proud too!

Because we live in a society of people who tend to eagerly jump to the worst possible conclusions. Brave new world of stupidity.

    You got that right.

I hate to see kids get hurt, hope heals up quick.
Don't forget to tell him chicks like scars:D

Wife and I were at my brothers house and my niece fell on a chair like that, I was in the room, freaked the crap out of me, because when I picked her up I thought it was her eye and there was a lot of blood, turns out was just above the eye

A real shame he got hurt but I'm betting you are a very proud papa and rightly so. Tell him we are all proud of him.
