    I will add some enjoyment to your beer man. Steady rain here. Good time for this. The pictures make it look like it is right in the trees. But there is a good distance all around. It had rained lightly off and on for about 4 hours before I lit it, when there was a good steady rain. image.jpg

    Rain gets heavier. Glad. Fire HOT! Ground too wet for tractor. So this guy has some work to do to push and throw things onto fire. Cleaning up around outside. If I can get close enough. LOL

    Hat, good denim jacket and gloves on for rain protection. LOL

    Time to wear off some of the calories from those cheeseburgers I cooked on grill for wife and kids. Montreal seasoning! Mmmmm, tasty. I managed to wrestle two of them away!

    Got a brief reprieve from the rain.... From 5:15 til 6:30, the sun shone brightly and afforded me the opportunity to make head way on a "partial" wood shed... Details to follow upon completion. But of course, just as I finished a bachelor's supper, the skies opened back up!
    And maybe a brush with tropical storm Joaquin (hope it doesn't go hurricane strength) this weekend!:hair:
    4+ days of rain is making me consider moving to Seattle.... I'm sure it rains less often there than it has here since Friday. Ok, not really- but I may put in for a name change- Wythe-attle:rofl: :lol::headbang::whistle:

    Holy smoly that a lot o work. Should of taken the tractor with grapple out! Still a good size fire. Still raining. More fuel to add but pulled some of the bigger stuff away for making firewood. I tired. It looks like I will be at it a couple more hours though. Lots more fuel around the fire. Might as well get it burned up tonight. Then need to keep an eye on it for a while.

    Bummer. Came home sick at lunch. this is totally the worse time of the school year to be sick. A lot of it going around though - both students and staff. Hard to find replacements. Of course everyone gets the idea that they irreplaceable.
