Got my NC-30 today

    The 30 is VERY easy to run.
    I tried all (or most) of the "tricks" with this stove, and ended up right back to stock.
    Bought the steel rod and did that, tried partially blocking off the doghouse air, partially blocking the secondary air......
    Turns out, that caused me to end up messing with the stove too much, so now, I just run it.
    DO be careful when loading wood, and using a poker or other implements. The baffle boards will end up looking like Swiss cheese.
    Mine have a few little dents.
    Read the manual.

    Easy does it there Dave,,,when you day you're going to throw some more wood in the stove, don't do it literally!
