Topped Off Sugar Maple

    After doing some trail work I decided it was a good time to fell this, it's all home just waiting to be split.

    I ran the Stihl 310 on it. We did push a load of Hemlock in before the rains come.

    Nice zap. most of that looks to still be in great shape.
    I found some Red that looked good, until I cut into it.

    Not much but it's suppose to start tomorrow with most of it coming Tuesday (.33 of an inch) and then the nights will start getting cooler so we're getting it in.

    We have a little more to stuff into the shed and i would like to split a bunch of kindlin from a stack of poplar. We're supposed to get 3+ inches between tomorrow and wednesday.

    My bad, thought I saw a hemlock log in there. On second look it's definitely a maple.:emb:
    Rain to break up the 70's weather we have been having invites some nice long warm fires to be had.:thumbs: :fire:
