    That's awesome.

Believe it or not I've contemplated a trailer/kennel to pull with the motorcycle, I think my wife would kill me.

Tugboat (a.k.a. Manny) has been progressing very nicely. He loves his dog brothers and sisters, especially Augie. He also loves living outside of a cage (he was a puppy mill stud).

My Dad had a heart attack. He had been very depressed. That is why I got him a dog, even though he was older. Then Dad got cancer. That dog was such a comfort to him during those bad times. After he passed, my Mom and the dog lived for another 12 years.
the dog lived to be 17. not uncommon at all to have senior dogs rehomed after their owners pass or are no longer able to keep them because of the living situation. If fact, if you fear your parents leaving you with a dog, maybe the dog for them is a senior dog. That way they will both be happy.

Maple got some dove hunting in yesterday. She was a stinky mucky mess by the end of the day. She needed a double wash down.

Campinspecter went somewhere without these two. I was able to snap picture of them waiting for him to come back.

Everyone is here while we are on our computers. Nobody goes very far away from Campinspecter. Everyone likes to nest so there is always afghans and blankets on "their" beds.

With Belle, her whole abdomen is swollen, from fluid per the doc. When she goes into the vet, unfortunately she won't be coming back. It's for the best though as I can tell she's not happy. I can't selfishly keep her around for my sake.

Fatty tissues are pretty typical of older dogs, as both our last 2 dogs, lab and a newfie / lab, had a few fatty tissues that all tested benign.

I am so very sorry to hear that. Sadly my first brittany had similar. Tumor on spleen, and, it had spread. I heard spleen tumors on older altered females is not uncommon. Hugs for that sweet little girl.

His coat wasn't in horrible shape when we got him. We've cleaned and groomed several small dogs for our local rescue recently. We aren't professional groomers, but heh, we're free.

We went woodcutting on Sunday and when we got back, we unloaded the wood into the shed. As I came into the house with a camera in my hand, here were these two waiting at the top of the stairs. Cricket is just around the corner and missed being in the picture.
