So many couples that I have known over the years complain about money, not listening to one another, money problems, you name it. Today Linda had the day off and had a docs appointment in the afternoon. In my feeble male mind I did remember the message from 2 or 3 days ago believe it or not. So tonight I got home from a big retaining wall job and was hot, dirty and really tired. I stopped on the way home to get some cold beer and since my beer fridge is full of garden veggies I have been putting my libations in a cooler on the back steps under ice in a cooler. Well, I went to put my new found beer in the cooler and I found a reminder of what she thought I may have forgotten about. Sorry, pretty boring but it made me chuckle so I had to take a pic. She even left a bag of ice under the note. After 35 years of wedded so called bliss, I think I will keep her. I am a pretty fortunate pilgrim I'll tell ya what!
Howd you get her so well trained? A reminder note that was not nasty and ice in the cooler. One like that is hard to find!

Love it. Communication is so key. Coming on 18 years, and I can tell you that the main problems we've had are communication and mainly the lack of. We don't always agree. Nor should we, but we do need to talk it out. Yes money is the other haunt for any couple. We've been pretty good on that front. Though I think we need to focus more effort on reducing our overall debt. We do agree on not creating any new debt. We buy everything with available cash not credit.
Lol. My wife and I both have office jobs, so we email back and forth throughout the entire day. It does help, because very often we'll forget to tell one another something important in the evenings when we're together, but will remember it in the middle of the work day.
That's a good women there and you have a strong relationship My Honey and I have been together for 41 years now 36 married and 5 of having fun and playing house I learned a long time ago to be a good listener .
