I hear ya... but I doubt they would be better than what we have here, dollar for dollar,
and that would be IF we could find them... But that's just me...
And with absolutely NO inquires for them, it would be foolish to get a load on spec...
At different times, we have had 6 brands. That is just too many as it is, IMO...

Please don't get me wrong... I am not knocking hardwoods.
Just sayin' we don't get calls for them, and the few I tried, they just were not
near as good as the La Crete, or North Country, in my application...

I'm not the money guy... I just get the blame for research that doesn't pan out!!!

On a side not, I may have mentioned this before, even with the lower oil prices,
we "tried" to test the waters with Doug Fir... You hear so much about them..
We got 5 tons on a regular load a while back..
And you know, they are a pricey luxury. Didn't know if we would sell bag one.
But worse case scenario, I would buy them for myself...
we are on our third truckload... we get calls from 50+ miles away,
from people that want them.. can't find them.. Go figure........ :coffee:

They are selling like crazy at a pellet house down here too. Great pellet but they are priced way out of my price range except for grabbing a couple bags....just because.

I'd like to try some Easy Blaze. I went to the store and picked up the September price list, here's what I found out. Ton - $315, 1/2 Ton - $177, Bag - $7.60
Can't pay those prices, especially for a product I've never used before. Wish there was a way to trial test a few bags at a reasonable price.

Maine Woods. Not Maine Choice, although others have had better luck with them than I have.

I burned one bag and didn't think they were anything special. I'll take LaCrete and Blazer over them any day.

The LaCrete's are really good but the sample bag I got last year of the NC's was too busted up to do a review BUT I do have replacement bags now and they look really good. I can't wait to burn them.

Sub I found a stash of those cream covered pallets with the giant GWF logo on the outside. You know, the ones I thought were Genevas. You were right, I was able to peek at a bag underneath and they are Maine's Choice.
