Building a mobile base for my new planer. Raining like a SOB all day. Getting ready to go to a Christmas party and tip some brews.

Ice is on the way, yuk. Don't know what forecast to depend on. I don't have my sand yet. I have to get someone to put it in the car so I can take it home. I can get play sand at Loews. So embarrassing asking for help. My Arthritis is acting up bad. I'm going to have to swallow my pride. Better than having the wife or me fall again.

 

Still in the 50's here it did get overcast ,all the rain is pushing north of me a few pic's of the thaw , we all love pic's Maggie loves catching snow balls.

 

The Dog Burger looks pretty damm gourmet to me!

 

It takes a brave man to ask for help.

Weather is crazy here, very mild for this time of year but cooling off by Christmas.

 

5-9 inches and 30 mph winds forecast from midnight to noon tomorrow. Should make it interesting for all the travelers going to the Packer game tomorrow.

 

Went down to Brooklyn NY yesterday and picked up my daughter, her fiance' and her dog and brought them back to Mass for the holidays. On the way back just before we got home, coming down our street, 2 beautiful yearling deer crossed in front of us.

This morning we had numerous wild birds and 3 nice wild turkey's at the bird feeders.

Then we decorated the Christmas tree and went down the street to the Alpaca farm for some yarn my daughter wanted to give to her sister in law.

It was crazy weather, 55'F today, with lot's of melting. I let the stove in the living room go out and it is delegated as a decoration prop for the remainder of the year. I'll keep the VC going downstairs as needed.

Already had beer . Out of beer around here means down to a case.

 

Tipping a cold one right now. The second one. Going to have to go to bed early though. May lose power sometime tonight and have to work tomorrow, just like today. Hoping we don't get as much ice as they say. Not looking good right now though. Can here it hitting the house.

You're right of course. This isn't a political thread. Was drinking beer and some shine a buddy brought over. Must have brought out the redneck in me Sure set my head to thumpin' the next day.

 

I've got some Prelude (Shipyard) and a few others that I plan on getting into once our son arrives.

Meanwhile I'm sitting here watching it ice up a bit out there.

 

How did the ice storm effect Gasifier and others?
