Went to the dump for our house and my parents this morning. Another good job done. Then went to thinning another area of White Spruce and White Pine and trimmed the remaining up. Took out a couple of Ash as well. Got cleaned up half way through and at 11:30 got my hair cut then had lunch with my parents and my sister. Back at it by 1 and quit at 2:45. Time to get cleaned up and spend some time with the family, wife and kids will be home from school soon. Soccer games tonight.

I've taken the bike to work every day this week. It was nearly 80 degrees and sunny.

At this rate, I'll miss some riding time as both my front and rear tires are pretty much done.

The boss just ordered a matching pair of end tables for the living room with a hutch thingy on top. If I get my chores done I'll start sketchup-ing it. She wants them in cherry or walnut....

I returned it. Did not even open the box. Between serious electrical work and plumbing which needed some construction to make this happen........

    Not happening.

No, we are a custom injection molding shop, I've been to a couple of rotational molding shops though.

We have a fall storm going here this morning. Windy and rain. Drove down island yesterday in the same kind of weather. Now I have squeaky clean teeth.

New lumber. My dad had a bunch of stuff milled from his woods several years ago. He had to empty the kiln to make room for some slabs and a lot of the 4/4 ended up in my barn. The door panels and top will be book-matched with some nice figure in them.

I probably shot a squirrel out of this tree at one point or another when I was a kid. Pretty cool.

Nice. I have some nice sugar maple chunks from a tree that was in my neighbors yard growing up. I'll probably carve or turn something up as they are not long enough to turn into boards.

Ya can't beat furniture made from your own hands.

It would be cool to carve a tree out of it if there was anything distinctive about the tree that brings back memories....
