    Soon. It hasn't been cold enough to get a fire going. :thumbs: I decided to wait a while longer on starting to burn this year. Plenty of other stuff to do while the temps are still this warm!

    77ยบ in the house when I got home but not because the Buck is going. I look forward to burning season but I'm just okay looking forward.......we all know once we stopping looking forward ain't no looking back.

    It took me a second or two to catch on to this new thread title - I was reading it like it was a measurement.

    32 degrees here this morning, ice on the car windshield. Did a very small fire in the PH this evening to start drying out the stone. Wife was not impressed with how small a fire it was.

    Yikes, you've got to be in one of those mountain valleys. We only got down to 42 last night and I'm north of you.

    Burning soft maple and white birch. Stove top temp at 400 and the wife is happy. I got out of work early today and kept up my weekend project of bringing wood into the barn. It definitely turned the corner and became fall over the past couple of days!

    It's been down around 40 at night here and high 60's during the days. When the house drops below 68 I build a fire with two white spruce splits and one maple or cherry. Keeps things nice and cozy:coldfire:
