Eaton's Department store in Canada brand. The saw is a Homelite XL-1. The chain brakes are rather rare. I think the guy cut one time with it and shelved it. I also bought a new ungassed Pioneer P 25 for a friend from the seller.
Just acquired this project. Looks like it only got a couple hours' use before someone scored the piston. A few parts have been robbed over the years that it must've been sitting on a shelf, but nothing major. Still glossy under the dust, and it even came with a near-new 24" B&C.
Dennis at DChotsaws. One he built a few years ago for STS competitor TJ. I used to know all the specs of the weight saved from the real carbon fiber parts used. But cant remember.
damm do you oil it with WD40? My 555 is basically brand new stays in the power box and in the truck. I dont think it was that shiney when I unboxed it.
I just got it last week its only cut about a half cord. I havent had 50cc saw in a long time, i cant believe how lite this thing is.
