    Rained like a SOB early this AM. Got a new bar and chain put on the saw and drilled on the muffler a little more...going to cut some wood today and see how well the saw handles a 25" on a big white oak at the neighbors. Supposed to be sunny...breezy..and 73 this afternoon.

    Gotta mow the lawn. Friends are coming over this afternoon for the harvest fest we have in town. People come from all over to go to this festival. This is what I'm glad we live in the town, and not the city. Fun to visit, but a pita of it was literally in your backyard.

    image.jpg image.jpg Well it started raining and I got to work moving brush to the burn pile with the grapple. A nice size fire now. Was bigger but it has burned down.

    What else could I want? I'm tired out from working with chainsaw and tractor/grapple all day. I have cold beer and a nice fire to watch. And at lunch time I skipped eating and made a home made chili for dinner! It has beef, bacon, pepperoni, red peppers, and celery in it. Life is good folks! image.jpg
