Looking at the 3 monthly maps compared to the winter map, I'd say you're gonna freeze in Jan and Feb.

    I'm good with those maps.

But, if average is 28, above average is 30, and much above average is 34 (rough examples only) then I guess it's a safe bet that not many of us will be golfing in shorts in December.

So maybe it will only get down to -45 instead of -50. Yay...

One Sunday last winter the HIGH was 35 below zero. I went to the hill to help with a ski race. I'm about the only one in the patrol equipped for that weather. I found a nice little depression in the snow to get out of the wind and took a nap in the sun. The friggin racers pretty much straight lined it from the warming shack at the top to the shack at the bottom.

I wish it would be colder. These predictions more or less can mean little or no snow for this winter, which is typical of an El Nino for us.

Up hereah, yup that's border speak, it snows more when it's warmer than colder.. Doesn't snow much at 20 below.. so that looks like a great forecast:yes: El Nino typically for us means warmer mostly above 0 and 6 feet of snow!

I'll take it! Uncle Sam took his fair share (and then some) from all the OT I had with snow removal the past two or so winters.
