Fortunately I'm an old school woman - the generic use of "man" and "guys" doesn't bother me (I'm giving Will the benefit of doubt here). I was at a motorcycle seminar over the weekend and was the only gal. The speaker kept saying "guys", then pausing before he remembered to add "and gals". I finally told him just to use "guys".

Now, if anyone writes "he", in direct reference to me, I'll be more than happy to chime up and give that person chit - just because I can

2011 Street Glide with color matched lowers in Merlot Sunglow. Traded in my '06 SG last year for this one. Love the bigger tank and 6th gear!

Just remembered that I first joined here because I was going thru the Chainsaw forum and figured I would visit the pellet section later. Well, I did, just much later than I intended.

Nice! We are thinking of upgrading our 2000 Roadking to an ultra for a little more comfy ride so we can cover a little more ground. Couple of folks here have bikes.

Mine came with a bunch of nice upgrades/mods (V&H, stage 1, oil cooler, the lowers, relocated antenna etc). Not to say I haven't added a few myself . . .

    Nice looking bike!

I can testify that jumping a touring bike just ain't real cool. Okay, so mine went airborne when I ran over the biggest dang porcupine I've ever seen, in the dark (if it had been light, I would have seen it in time to swerve), going 50-55mph. Yeah, it turned out okay, just didn't feel real good as she was wallowing around right after the landing. But - she stuck her landing and a little throttle made everything alright.

Probably a good thing I had my purse in the saddle bag - it's heavy enough to make the rear tire come down first :jaw:
