I read it takes 2.5 gallons. Is that correct or even close

Just called again and was told they are only getting 1 splitter in. However the gentleman did tell me the truck arrives around 5 am and the store normally has staff on duty between 7-8 so call right away and they will hold it till I can get there tomorrow after work. Fingers crossed

Unbelievable. The truck didn't make it in today. They won't see it til Friday. Wonder if I ordered it shipped to my house if I'd have this kind of problems. :headbang::headbang::headbang:

I was afraid something like that was going to happen. That is the same run around I got trying to find one in a store. I did not have any problems with having mine shipped.

I used to say, "if it wasn't for no luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all" Hope you are able to get the one you want. I don't like waiting either, but if it is the one you want, you will regret not waiting.

They said they would hold it but I'm leaving town at noon on Friday to go help my parents. Maybe Sunday I'll call them and see if it's still in the store and go get it. Problem is I will have to come home and unload the 9 saws and all the other related items that go with them so I have room. My short box pickup is packed full right now for the weekend.

Rented the Oregon 28 ton splitter this weekend that I could of purchased but with in the first 5 minutes I realized it was not a good set up. It performed great but the tank and wheel are in the operators way big time. Going to see if I can get the HF splitter this weekend.

Didn't somebody have one of those that they turned the opposite way and only used it horizontally?

It now sits 4" higher. It should be easier on the back.

The wheels are the same, I painted them silver a while back.
