What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Caffein time here too. Dark dreary and wet here as well. Middle of the week is supposed to be summer again though.

 

I think that I'll split some bucked up pine, open up a small trail and after that I'm not sure......maybe burn some junk wood in the outside fireplace.

 

Forecast is 4 days of nice weather, so off I go to fill the shed. One last push oughtta do it.
Need more coffee first.............

Clear and windy this morning. We are getting a little warm spell after chilly nights. Getting ready for my walk. Summer isn't over yet!

 

Dang coffee maker keeps leaking water all over the counter. Fairly new and I just ran vinegar through it a couple weeks ago.
Put more in, and that went through onto the counter too. I'm not a happy coffee drinker right now. Instant sucks.

 

I like yuengling and the light version. You just can't buy it here.

 

We had friends over last night. I grilled out my famous no fuss grilled pork ribs, the wife made an awesome broccoli salad, and baked potatoes, and my friends brought oreo dessert "cupcakes" and the beer. We had a fire outside, burned uglies, and watched the skies for meteors. All 5 of us saw this one crazy meteor that was super bright, and lasted a long time. We drank nearly all the beer.

Good times. Dogs are tired from playing with their 9 yr old son from 5pm until midnight.

 

All that playing makes 'em "strong like bull".
That's one tuckered out pup.

 

I just finished transplanting 7 white spruce trees.......those of us with Direct tv are getting the NFL ticket for free this weekend so I think I'll check it out.

 

Thanks for the direct TV tip. I forgot about that. I'll have to see what teams are playing in the 3pm matchups.

Getting odds and ends done today when I was surprised by Campinspecter's suggestion of lunch out. It was nice. Fish and chips. I think I will spend the afternoon in the sewing room.

 

Well I was heading for the sewing room but our CFL team is playing (not well) and we are listening to the game on the computer.

 

Well I snoozed for almost an hour and then it was up and off again. Moved some things around the yard to cut the grass. Check oil in mower, good. Check gas, bad. Go to the gas station and bring three five gallon jugs home. Fill mower and ready to go. Let's go. Wind and sprinkling rain. Put everything away and go inside. Oh well, ready to go when the time comes. Hopefully tomorrow night. Getting long.
