My neighbor is cutting 800 trees on his property. (And he uses geothermal !)
Thats a lot of tops that will need cleaned up. And only a couple people will be cutting firewood !
I think my 3 year plan is looking up

Wow, that's great! What does the property look like? Fairly level or will you have hillsides to deal with?

well... it's only about 150 yards from the PC here where I'm sitting, listening with the window open. I can here the machines and saws but I can't see anything.

Thats awesome news! Hope you got some sharp chains ready. I need to go down the street where they are logging and see if I can get some scraps!

But I was replying to the new girl on the block, dusky, who's been killing rounds over at her place.... She seems like she'd be chomping at the bit if she were across the street from an operation like what you're witnessing. She's awfully fond of her maul is what I was getting at:yes::D

That sounds like a tremendous amount of wood. Post some pictures when the cutting is over. Curious what kinds of wood you will be getting. I have only 6 white oak tops down that will keep me busy this fall and into winter (couple in swampy area that needs to freeze first). So, since you have 133 times as many tops as I do, does that make me lazy or you crazy? :)
