We will squabble when you try saying the golds and the platinums are this and that, But Honestly Doug, (I might be biased as well.) I'll let you rant on about these, They are the second best pellet(OK so maybe even a tie) I have ever burnt. First being the BM's themselves so they are all that!!

Maybe you should speak with your product and make a believer out of him. Send him a trial version, I'm sure you could arrange something with a local vender where he could stop by and pick one or 2 up. I bet he likes em as much as I do!!! :D Just sayin, You might even gain a convert!! ;)

Surely you could use it as an advertising/promotional thingie dohicky??

No offense Doug, but I have no interest in buying pellets that are going to cost $350/ton. They may be the best thing ever, but I will never know. I can heat my house comfortably down to 20 degrees with MWP/FSU. Below that it's Lacretes and or Blazers if I have them. I have burned Okies in the past when I used a lessor stove. Now I don't need to.

Roger is a great customer and a wonderful dealer for me....but if you are that close to Roger...then you are that close to the plant at Upton.... Tell you what I will do for you Mr. IHATEPRPANE...if you want to go to Upton... I will give you 4 bags of each brand if you want...you pick out what you want....no strings and when it gets cold enough...give the forum your honest opinion.....good or bad.....now before the rest of you want to jump on this bandwagon...this is for ProPane ONLY....I don't need the free opinions....but this is a friendly offering for him and him only.......do we have a deal?

Well, JT has Set's and was thrilled to get them but yet he stated tonight that Bear Mountain is the best pellet he's ever burned. Doug, in so many words said Bear Mountain and Okie DF are basically the same pellet. So maybe Set's are the best pellet at box store prices but are they one of the best pellets period? I don't get them up here but I'd like to compare them to LaCretes and Blazers to see what the fuss is.

Yes we do! PM me the details.
I probably wouldn't not burn them until
I could leave the stove on long enough to get consistent temps, which means overnight burns.
I will be able to do direct comparisons:
    Blazers to DF
    Vermont's to Platinums
    Golds would be by themselves.
