    A saw would have to be far more special than a 440 for me to plunk down $600 for it.

    I was just saying it was a nice looking saw, I actually have no idea what a "nice" price would be for one, but by the comments I am assuming south of $500

    My point was that $600 is a lot of money for a saw, for that price I would expect to get something better than a 440. The 044 that I paid $100 for will probably cut as well as the one in the ad.

    Guy I work with picked up a nicer 440 for $200 from another guy I know at work. They are out there. Just dont jump on the 1st one you see. I see so many paying way to much now days for common saws.

    It pays to be frugal, I have $265 in an 044, 461 and 200T combined. If I can find the deals, anyone can.

    I'd be a buyer at $500 for that one.. Just to keep it. I let my last 440 go and I regret it.. :(

    It's an R model and an early non decomp 440.
