July 28th I paid 189.9 (300+ gallons price break) I am planning on using less than 300 gallons for the year Could be much worse. The gas drilling has helped here.
I don't burn fuel oil but since a few have commented on gasoline......I saw 1.92/gal today....hope it stays down for a couple weeks, gotta roadtrip planned
Nope going a different direction.....I go over to the Pitt. airport occasionally and it's always .30 higher in PA.
68 cents total now. highest in the nation actually went up about 10 cents this year and will go up again in 2017 Pa doesn't tax heating oil on your primary residence, but, it does if it's a second residence ie; rental, summer home, second home, ect
Until I read they only tax your secondary residence I thought it was really bad to tax fuel for the home you live in. It's also bad to tax any heating fuel, even in a secondary residence. Heating is a necessity, not a luxury. Should at least be tax deductible.
Without a doubt, heating is a necessity. A second home, not so much. Is that good enough reason to tax it? No way !!!
You're right. It's unreal how many creative ways we can be taxed. Let's not get started down this road, though.
yep. but just the mention of oil prices being high is already political. don't want the mods to vaporize us
