Well, this is interesting. Your saw just showed up on Craigslist again. In Long Island.

    condition: excellent
    make / manufacturer: Stihl
    model name / number: 044

I purchased this saw new in the 90's to clean up some storm damaged trees and it has only been used for my home use. I haven't used it for many years but I took it to the Stihl dealer last week and had them look it over and tune it. Sold my house and cleaning out the garage so I don't have a use for this anymore. Saw is in excellent condition, comes with 18" & 25" (wide nose) Stihl bars, 5 sharp chains, 3 splitting wedges, tool kit, a bar cover and a small amount of bar oil

Holy cow, whoever is doing that is a idiot!! I dont typically call people names, but whoever is behind that ad is a useless POS!!!

Used the guy I bought the saw from pictures, and he used the pictures and text I posted in this thread sharing it with all you FHC members.

I hope nobody gets burned there! He had to have read this thread!?!? Hi Looser :)

Happens way more than you know. I've had pictures used on ebay adds as well as Brad Snelling and a few more. A few people were going as far to download videos and repost them to get the money from the adds on them.

Yep, it happens very often. My pics from my MS 441C-M were used by a seller on eBay. I sent him a message... I never received a reply :)

Call him and tell him those pictures are your personal property and you own the copyright and they need to be removed or else...

Why would you even post them. Does anyone e fall for the shipping money order deal? If I showed up and the stuff didnt look like the pics I would think something g was wrong and probably walk unless it was a you suck price.

Hang at AS in Chainsaw for a week or two and you will understand. A certain member swears by the 044 (10 mm of course), with new HD2 air filter, and RSL with stock angles.

Well I guess I'll be finding me some HD2 filters for my two 044 10mm then. So far I'm impressed with the one that Mike did :dremel: and will be waiting for the arrival back of the one that MM will be doing. It's leaving today for Tenn... Not really planning to getting into Square filing, since I'm set up for the other route. But I'll definitely be grabbing some filters for sure. Thanks.
