How to kill a stump ?

    we have a product called stump rot available at farmstead and tractor supply. I take foot long drill bit usually 1 inch drill down and pour in if in fall softwood gone by spring hard woods generally take 2 applications and 18 months.. another called stump be gone!

    I hear you about the Craigslist adds, I don't know what some of these people have been smokin when they put the adds up on there :rolleyes::picard:

    Given the situation, Tordon will handle them all and gly (roundup) will handle most. Cut an asterisk in the stump so you have fresh cuts, and dump away.

    looks like that's what I will do, pick up some Tordon next time I go to Tractor Supply cuz I see they carry it.
    Good idea, Cut an asterisk in the stump, pull out a Saw zip zip:)

    I've thought about doing that to a large ash stump in my front yard. I always wondered if it'd work, but I guess it does!

    The neighbor,who was around 80, had some trees cut down in his yard and left the stumps to sit on and rest when he mowed the grass. I offered to grind them and he said no. They have since rotted away with time.
