As long as it runs that is a good deal. Less than a dollar a cc. I have a 3400 and it is a good if slightly heavy saw. But it is built like a tank.

Around here people ask 75-150 for running examples of those saws depending on condition.

$45 will cover the bar, chain and case, so the powerhead is free! Go grab it!

I'd take those old Poulans are pretty tough saws and you can't beat the price.

I sold a running. Wild thing for $50 last year so at that price you can't go wrong. It was in great condition but still!

If I want a saw I only post about it after it is my possession, that way no one can sneak in a buy it from under me.

Boy, this thing really runs good too...best $40 saw deal yet :p

Ha! Joking...would do that to ya, and, I would never buy a saw without seeing it...well, this one was potentially a good enough deal and cheap enough to have risked it though. Probably cost more to ship it across the country than to buy it...and by the time it got here it would probably look like the OOPS truck ran over it :ups::hair:
What size bar ya 'spose was on that thing? 20-22?

I figured 20" but looked longer. Does anyone make a 22" bar?

Certain Poulan ''farm/ranch'' mid sized 54-61cc models from the late 80's- late 90's had a 22 inch bar.My Super 380 came with a 20,but I've seen a couple over the years with the 22" factory bar. Most likely a rebadged Oregon. They aren't very common though.

The Poulan Pro 330 came with a 22" bar.

Seems like I thought I remember a poulan in 22" bar. I think some of those chinese saws have a 22" bar also?

I was figuring 20, but that first photo looks longer than that. I was hoping a little longer.

Probably the best thing. Time is money and time wasted running a lack luster saw is just that, a waste. This is just my opinion of course. God Bless
