A week or so ago I missed out on a fairly clean but non-running Didier that was offered for FREE about 20 minutes east of me. I responded half an hour after it was posted, which was probably way too slow.

    Professional Stihl & Husqvarna Saws
    [IMG]

Two professional 50cc chainsaws for sale or trade.
The first is a Stihl 026 with 16'' b&c. Runs great, very desirable saw.

The second is a Husqvarna 346xp with 18" b&c. Also runs great, b&c are brand new never been in wood. New oem parts include carb kit, top cover, intake knuckle, flywheel, and chain brake handle.

Any question feel free to txt me at the number in the reply box. I'm asking $450 for the pair or $250 each, Firm. Or I would like to trade the pair for a Husqvarna 372xp / Jonsered 2171 or Stihl 044, 046 / 046,460. Or lastly a HIGH end A/V receiver.
Feel free to shoot me offers, I don't need junk, car audio, other small chainsaws, yard equipment ect.

Jon1270 those are some crazy good deals. I would have grabbed the 346 and 390 if they were local to me.

Hey, at least he's not asking you to come get it!

In other news, I answered a chainsaw ad last night -- vague, with no pictures or price, looking for a barter of some unspecified sort, for an "old still chainsaw with a 24" bar." I asked for a picture, expecting maybe an 041, and got something unusual:

    IMG_20150904_182809921.jpg

Zoom in on the badge, and you'll see a model number that was never marketed in North America. The guy who advertised it says he got it from a friend who'd bought a house, where this was left behind by the previous owner, who'd brought/gotten it from New Zealand. I don't know how to put a value on it, but it's kinda tempting anyhow.

Last number is worn, but maybe 380?

Not impossible, but the guy who advertised it believes it came from NZ, which fits the 381 idea. I don't know what the difference would be.

One man's 'cheap' is another man's 'thrifty.' It would be smarter, though, to stand on the front porch and yell, "Anyone want to have a bonfire? Free wood here!" Because, really, nobody out of earshot is going to come for it.
